In the news we have all been waiting for Pink News reports that Steven Gerrard has won the Gay Football Supporters Network Sexiest Player of the Year award with Frank Lampard second and Cristiano Ronaldo in third. Beauty must be in the eye of the beholder, I suppose.
This news must come as welcome relief to Middlesbrough's Matthew Bates, who took pics of himself that ended up on gay websites - allegedly after a row with an ex. Incidentally some of the comments left in response to the Bates' pics (please no smutty play on words) include:

"Wow, he is amazing! Made my jaw drop! Sexy."

"Cheers for a fantastic post — and that’s from a Boro guy who has dreamed of seeing pics like this for a long time."

"Sexy guy but it’s a shame he is likely to play fewer games for Boro."
